- Usage limits depend on plan and seat. View and Collab seats and the Starter plan get up to 20 tool calls per month; Full and Dev seats get 200 per day on Professional, Education and Organization plans and 600 per day on Enterprise, with per-minute limits. developers.figma.com/docs

Where available, install Figma's plugin for your client, which includes the server settings and Figma's skills. Otherwise add https://mcp.figma.com/mcp as a remote MCP server that uses the HTTP transport. The Figma desktop app is not needed.
- Sign in to Figma and allow access
- List the server's tools
Your client should list the server's tools. That confirms the connection, not every API permission.
What we observed
- 5 Nov 2026: HTTP 401 with WWW-Authenticate resource_metadata https://mcp.figma.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource and scope mcp:connect; the metadata names the authorization server https://api.figma.com.
