How to connect the Apify MCP server
To connect the official Apify MCP server, add https://mcp.apify.com/ to your MCP client as a Streamable HTTP server, then sign in with OAuth when your client prompts you. - Add the Apify MCP server to your client
Add https://mcp.apify.com as a remote MCP server that uses the Streamable HTTP transport (often labelled "http"). Apify also offers a configurator at the same address, a Claude connector, a ChatGPT plugin, and a CLI that installs the server in Cursor and other clients.

What we observed
- 5 Nov 2026: HTTP 401 with WWW-Authenticate Bearer realm="OAuth", error="invalid_token" and no resource_metadata parameter. The well-known path https://mcp.apify.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource names the authorization server https://console-backend.apify.com and scope full_api_access.
