Verify an API token

The token-verification endpoint uses an Authorization bearer header. Replace YOUR_CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN with the token you intend to verify. Verification of a token does not establish that it has permission for every Cloudflare operation.

Cloudflare API request questions

How do I test Cloudflare API calls?

GET /client/v4/user/tokens/verify checks the supplied user API token. It is a focused starting request rather than an example that changes DNS, zones or account settings. Inspect the actual HTTP response and returned token status. Load the request in the explorer, supply any required credentials, and select Send. Browser execution depends on the provider's CORS policy; use the generated cURL locally when browser access is blocked.

What authentication does the Cloudflare example require?

Can I generate Cloudflare cURL and JavaScript examples?

Yes. Configure the request URL, method, headers and body, then select cURL or JavaScript in the code panel. Generated code includes any credentials you entered. Nothing runs automatically, and closing the modal clears its working state.

What the explorer does

Requests go directly from your browser to the provider. It supports manual HTTPS requests and a subset of OpenAPI 3.x / Swagger 2.0 request generation. External schema references need a bundled file; complex parameter formats and OAuth sign-in require your own tooling. A failed browser request may still have reached the API, so check before retrying a change.
